\ud835\udc38\ud835\udc62\ud835\udc54\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc5b \ud835\udc40\ud835\udc56\u210e\ud835\udc62\ud835\udc59\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc61\u0326 works for the National Meteorological Administration in Bucharest where he is involved in interdisciplinary projects at the border between technology and meteorology, employing new directions such as Artificial Intelligence or more established ones like weather satellites and radars. His doctoral research investigates a concept called Stratospheric Satellite, an emerging ecological alternative to conventional satellites.<\/p>\n

\ud835\udc34\ud835\udc5b\ud835\udc50\ud835\udc4e \ud835\udc40\ud835\udc56\u210e\ud835\udc62\ud835\udc59\ud835\udc52\ud835\udc61\u0326-\ud835\udc3e\ud835\udc56\ud835\udc5a is a curator and art historian based in Seoul. She has been supporting artists to research on topics such as the implications of knowledge, history, margins, or landscape, with a focus on hidden stories, post-colonialism and invisibility. In her latest projects, Anca traced cases of artistic displacement and naturalization caused by conflicts, together with modes in which transmediality can influence our perception onto the future.<\/p>\n

Asocia\u021bia Galeria Nou\u0103, in partnership with the Asocia\u021bia Rom\u00e2n\u0103 de Art\u0103 Contemporan\u0103 (ARAC), invites you on December 20, starting at 7 pm, to an online talk with curator Anca Mihule\u021b Kim and an aero-space engineer and researcher in the field of atmospheric sciences, Eugen Mihule\u021b, who, in this intimate setting, will dive into a conversation on what the Atmosphere means to life on Earth and vice-versa, and what engagement through art represents for broadening our understanding and attitude towards this complex, complicated and fragile system that is also the essential foundation for most life on our planet.<\/p>\n

The \u201dBlue Sun\u201d\u00a0 project is included in the extended programme of Timisoara 2023 –\u00a0 European Capital of Culture.
<\/span><\/p>\n

The project \u201cBlue Sun \u2013 Conversation on art, science, and ecology\u201d benefits from a 93960 Euro grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants.<\/span><\/p>\n

The EEA and Norway Grants represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway towards a green, competitive and inclusive Europe. There are two overall objectives: reduction of economic and social disparities in Europe, and to
strengthen bilateral relations between the donor countries and 15 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics. The three donor countries cooperate closely with the EU through the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). The donors have provided \u20ac3.3 billion through consecutive grant schemes between 1994 and 2014. For the period 2014-2021, the EEA and Norway Grants amount to \u20ac2.8 billion.
